New York, NY (September 22, 2005) – Beginning October 1st, Slightly Known People will star and host their own Saturday night show at RiFiFi!
Immediately following Slightly Known People’s (SKP) successful run of its latest sketch comedy revue, “Pink Things & Ponies,” SKP will open a new show, “Slightly Known People is Seeing Other People.” This weekly run at RiFiFi will star the SKP performing their original sketch comedy as well as invited sketch groups and musical guests!
The New York Press has said of SKP, “the cleverness of this clownish cast is impressive,” and also described SKP’s sketches as being "well-written and performed with precision." This will be SKP’s fourth consecutive show at RiFiFi, an East Village staple known for its comedy nights, burlesque shows, and artsy film screenings. “Slightly Known People is Seeing Other People” is sponsored by Boodles® Gin and Wild Turkey® Bourbon.

SKP promotes Wild Turkey and Boodles in its sketches and at its shows whenever possible, including as part of the group’s consistent closing song, "We Like To Drink."
Slightly Known People is a New York City-based sketch group that has been performing in and around the NYC area since May 2004. SKP writes and performs original musical and non-musical sketches ranging from the awkward and confusing to the dark and foreboding. The five group members collaborate on writing, directing, and performing all material.
